Brand consultancy — strategy, story, reach

Building better brands that build a better world.

Cultivating purpose-driven brands to drive meaningful influence, courageous innovation, and lasting positive change.

Tall pine trunks fading into early-morning mist, light coming through the canopy.

Our promise

Inspiring a culture of truth within organizations to influence their brand’s greatest potential.

Only when an organization takes responsibility for the influence it creates — and holds a vision longer than the next quarter — does it build trust that endures. That trust is what compounds: in the workforce it keeps, the communities it serves, and the growth it leaves behind.

Clarity changes everything.

Lucid & Pine is a brand and growth consultancy built on a simple belief: the strongest brands know who they are before they tell the world who they are.

We help organizations uncover what makes them true, align their people around it, and bring it to life through brand, culture, creative, and growth.

Our work begins beneath the surface. We listen. We ask better questions. We find the truths, tensions, and opportunities others often miss. Then we turn that clarity into strategy and creative work that people can see, feel, and believe in.

Because a brand is more than a logo, a campaign, or a marketing plan. It’s the experience you create, the culture you build, the story you tell, and the trust you earn.

At Lucid & Pine, we believe businesses have the power to do more than grow. They can create meaningful change for their people, their customers, their communities, and the world around them.

We’re here to build better brands that build a better world.

Our mission

Empowering brands to realize their fullest potential by building enduring trust within the communities they serve, and create sustainable growth for future generations.

The thesis

The next generation of brand-building won’t be built on advertising. It will be built on stories people choose to share.

Advertising is losing attention. Communities are replacing audiences. Trust is the new currency — and the brands that win won’t interrupt culture, they’ll become part of it. Most companies know how to market. Very few know how to tell a story.

One system, five phases — from truth to transformation.

Truth Blueprint

Identity, narrative and cultural alignment — the blueprint everything else is built on.

Story Development

Turning truth into stories worth sharing.

Production

World-class creative execution.

Distribution

AI-powered precision, and a home for the work on OurHumanStory.com — our streaming platform for human stories.

Transformation

Culture becomes the story.

Why now

Three converging forces create a once-in-a-generation opportunity.

Identity crisis

Organizations don’t know who they are.

Narrative crisis

They can’t tell the story of who they are.

Attention crisis

They can’t get anyone to hear it.

Lucid & Pine solves all three.

3 Founding partners
5 Phases, one system
4 Disciplines connected: identity, narrative, culture and media
Still life in early-morning light — the materials the partnership works in.

The partnership

A decentralized operating structure — no corporate ideologies to conform to, just real transparency about how the work gets made.

Agencies build campaigns. Consultants build strategy. Production companies build content. AI companies build data. Nobody connects all four. We do — and we do it as three named people, not a pyramid. The partners you meet are the partners who do the work.

AI is not going to replace humanity. It’s going to require it.

Greg D’Alba

Co-Founder

A leader in media and entertainment whose career spans three decades. He joined CNN in 1986 and rose to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CNN Worldwide, helping build an emerging cable channel into one of the world’s most influential news organizations. He later served as President of Global Sales and Marketing at WME-IMG, now Endeavor. His work has been guided by what he calls the Global Village — the idea that media carries a responsibility to inform, connect and strengthen society.

Lucas Mack

Co-Founder

An executive brand strategist and author with more than two decades aligning identity, culture and strategy. He leads global brand transformation and previously founded the Creative Services practice at Unify Consulting, advising Microsoft, Google, Netflix, Costco and T-Mobile. He also founded an award-winning brand agency. He began as an award-winning television journalist for NBC, FOX and ABC affiliates — which is where the belief started: the most powerful brands tell truthful stories that people believe.

Aaron Scotti

Co-Founder

A film and television producer working at the intersection of storytelling, strategy and influence. His career spans creative development, production and financing partnerships, with credits including The Peanut Butter Falcon — winner of the SXSW Audience Award — and Arctic, which premiered at Cannes. He now develops original film, television, documentary and family content, bringing a producer’s perspective to building brands, forging partnerships and creating meaningful cultural impact. His conviction: the principles that move an audience can also move an organization.

The vision

Lucid & Pine builds the stories organizations need. Our Human Story builds the stories humanity keeps.
